PCR machine to be installed at BMCH: Governor Punjab

Governor Punjab, Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar has announced the installation of a PCR machine for the diagnosis of Hepatitis A, B, and C patients at the Bolan Medical Complex Hospital (BMCH). The Governor made this announcement at the request of a famous health professional, Dr. Yasir Khosti.
“The machine at the cost of Rs. 10 million would be installed at BMCH”, the Governor said. Governor Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Balochistan, Adil Khan Bazai were also present on the occasion.
Sarwar foundation to provide all support
Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar stated that Sarwar Foundation would provide all possible support to the Balochistan government to improve health facilities. “Patients suffer as we have no PCR lab here”, Dr. Khosti apprised the Governor. He said the hospital staff was sending Hepatitis tests to other provinces because of no lab here.
The Governor assured that a PCR machine would be installed soon to facilitate patients of Balochistan.
Governor Punjab also inaugurates 2 water filtration plantsÂ
Governor Punjab also inaugurated the installation of two clean water filtration plants in Quetta to provide clean drinking water to the citizens. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Punjab stated that two more water filtration plants would also be installed in Quetta to support the people.
The wife of Governor Punjab, Mrs. Parveen Sarwar was also present on the occasion.
Begum Governor also visited district Jail Quetta and provided 20 sewing machines to female inmates. “Society has to take care of female inmates”, she said. Nadeem Kakar, a social worker was also present on the occasion.

Begum Governor also interacted with female inmates and assured her full cooperation in the resolution of their issues. She said Sarwar Foundation was committed to supporting marginalized segments of the society.
