Lashkari demands judicial inquiry into former Governor’s allegations

The central leader of the Balochistan National Party (BNP), Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Raisani has demanded a judicial inquiry into the former Governor’s revelations regarding Sardar Bahadur Khan (SBK) Women University.
“There has to be an immediate judicial inquiry into former Chancellor’s statement”, Lashkari Raisani said in a statement issued to the press on Tuesday. Former Governor Balochistan Justice (R) Amanullah Khan Yaseenzai leveled serious allegations against deputy speaker national assembly Qasim Sori. The former Governor accused Sori of defending and demanding the extension of an accused involved in harassment cases in SBK.
Nawabzada Raisani said the former Governor belongs to a respected family and his revelations must be fairly and independently probed. “We cannot make any compromise over our honor”, he said.
The BNP leader urged the political parties, civil society to evolve an effective strategy to counter such kinds of conspiracies. This is actually an attack on the educational institutions of Balochistan, he said.
Nawabzada Raisani reiterated the demand for taking action against those involved in harassment cases at SBK.
