CM Balochistan orders release of Rs. 7 bs for development projects

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has ordered the release of Rs. 7 billion for development projects in the province. The funds were released for the construction of 135 road schemes in the province, an official handout said on Tuesday.
The CM also released Rs. 1.7 billion for 114 schemes in the Livestock Department. He also approved the release of funds for the construction of housing schemes in five districts of Balochistan.
Funds were also released for the construction of a smart building for the information department.
The Chief Minister approved funds for the implementation of the Rs. 1 billion Disaster Villages project. The Chief Minister gave in-principle approval of funds for setting up of 6 check posts for improvement and supervision of transport system.
The Chief Minister Balochistan has approved funds for the implementation of the first Quran Academy in the province at a cost of Rs. 100 million. The Chief Minister has sanctioned funds for the setting up of digital libraries in 10 colleges of Quetta. Earlier, funds for setting up of new degree colleges have already been sanctioned in the districts where college facilities were not available.
The Chief Minister also sanctioned funds for the implementation of 114 schemes worth Rs. 1 billion of the Sports Department, including the Sports Complex Qila Abdullah and the Gocart Track project in Quetta.
