Students in Balochistan manage to get good marks

In Balochistan, the students manage to get good marks in all examinations. However, the student’s success ratio in competitive examinations remains low as compared to other provinces of the country. Students from Balochistan scored fewer numbers in recently conducted Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) tests for medical colleges.

In Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh, the students scored better numbers as compared to Balochistan. For instance, Punjab’s merit for the medical seats ends at 92 percent whereas, Balochistan’s highest percentage is near 90 percent. This simply reflects the quality of education in Balochistan.

Despite spending Rs. 75 billion, educational institutions paint a bleak picture across the province.
