Three killed, son of Sardar Khetran injured in Quetta

At least three people were killed in a firing incident in Quetta’s new Nichar road in the Samungli area on Monday evening. Major Tahir Khetran, the son of Sardar Khetran has sustained injuries in the firing incident.

Police sources said armed men opened fire and killed three people. The dead bodies shifted to civil hospital Quetta. However, the injured son of Sardar Khetran was rushed to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for medical treatment. Doctors in the CMH conducted the operation on Sardar Khetran’s son. He has been kept in the intensive care unit of the hospital.

Police said a tribal man Sardar Attique Kakar was also killed in the firing incident. Police contingent reached Nichari road area to avert another untoward incident in the area. The motive behind the firing incident could not be ascertained immediately. Panic prevailed in the area in the aftermath of the firing incident.
