Young doctors Balochistan announce to enter red zone on Dec 13

News Desk :

QUETTA: Young Doctors Association (YDA) Balochistan has announced to enter the Red Zone near Chief Minister Balochistan’s Secretariat on December 13 (Monday). Dr. Hafeez Mandokhail, the Chairman of the YDA said that the government has failed to address the issues of the doctors despite repeated talks.

“We are forced to take extreme steps”, Dr. Mandokhail told a news conference on Friday evening at civil hospital Quetta. Other YDA office-bearers were also present on the occasion.

He also announced the doctors would also lay siege of the CM House on December 13. “If the government wants to arrest we are ready for that”, Dr. Mandokhail stated. He said the provincial government was least bothered about the issues of health professionals and masses of the province.

He said the government has stepped back from its promises of accepting the demands of the doctors. He said it was irony of fate that doctors were behind the bars for last more than two weeks in Quetta jail.

YDA has been observing a boycott of OPDs in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan in support of its demands.
