Balochistan government has canceled all contracts with testing services and empowered all provincial departments to recruit employees from grade-1 to 15. This decision was made public by Farah Azeem Shah, the Spokeswoman government of Balochistan while addressing a press conference on Tuesday.

“We want to ensure merit in the recruitment process”, she claimed. The Spokeswoman stated that Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has directed all provincial secretaries and ministers to make sure merit in the recruitment process.

All departments were directed to ensure merit in the recruitment process, Ms. Shah claimed. She spoke at length about the Balochistan government’s initiatives regarding ensuring the provision of jobs to youth and decreasing the ratio of poverty in the province.

Various testing services have been conducting tests and interviews of candidates in various government departments for the recruitment of employees. This is for the first time in a decade that the provincial government has announced empowering departments to conduct tests and interviews of employees.

In Balochistan, thousands of vacancies are lying vacant in different departments.
