At least one minor child was killed and two others were wounded in a grenade blast inside a house in Panjgur town of Balochistan on Thursday.

According to sources familiar with the incident, the explosion took place inside the house of Mechanic Ashraf in the Khudabadan area of the town, where children of Ashraf between aged 5 to 9, found a grenade near their house and were playing with it when it exploded.

Minor child Faizan died on the spot

Resultantly, one minor child identified as Faizan died on the spot, and two others Ajmal and Saddaf suffered serious injuries.
Soon after receiving information about the blast, local administration along with rescuers rushed to the site and shifted the body and injured to district headquarter hospital Panjgur, where the conditions of the injured were said to be critical. The local administration cordoned off the area and started an investigation into the matter.
