GWADAR: Lieutenant General, Surgeon General Pakistan Army, Nigar Johar visited Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) hospital in the port city of the country on Friday. She arrived in Gwadar and visited the hospital and was thoroughly briefed about the hospital jointly managed by the GDA and Pak Army.
She also inaugurated an oxygen generation plant donated by NCOC for the people of Gwadar. Later she was escorted to GAPS Auditorium for her talk to women of Gwadar on women empowerment.

Women from all walks of life including teachers, students, housewives, working ladies, and social workers attended her lecture. She urged the women of Gwadar to play their part in the development of Gwadar by coming at the forefront alongside men.
Women were extremely excited to have a lady amongst themselves who could rise to such a rank and stature, she said. She motivated young girls to realize their true potential through hard work and dedication.
She also answered questions mainly related to the joining of the armed forces by the girls. In the end, a photoshoot was conducted with the audience by Surgeon General. She departed the venue while leaving a lasting impact on the women of Gwadar.
