At least two labourers were killed in a firing incident in Balochistan’s Kech district on Monday. Levies sources said armed men opened fire on labourers working on the construction of a road in the Hoshap area of Kech.

The firing left two labourers dead on the spot. The attackers sped away on their motorcycles. Levies and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.

The dead bodies of the victims were shifted to a nearby hospital for postmortem. Security of the construction company was tightened in the aftermath of the killing of labourers in the area.

This incident has come two days after the miscreants attacked a construction company’s camp in Balochistan’s Harani district. Deputy Commissioner Harnai, Sardar Rafique Tareen said two labourers were injured in the firing incident.
