ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi approved the appointment of five additional judges of the Balochistan High Court (BHC) on Wednesday. The newly appointed judges include Muhammad Iqbal Kasi Advocate, Shaukat Rakhshani Advocate, Gul Hassan Tareen Advocate, Muhammad Amir Rana Advocate, and Sardar Ahmed Aleemi Advocate.

The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) had recommended five senior lawyers for the appointment of additional judges of the BHC. The President approved the appointments as per article A 175 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
