Chief Minister Balochistan and Chairman Quetta Development Authority governing body Mir Abdul Qudous presided over the governing body meeting.
The meeting reviewed financial and administrative affairs of the QDA. The DG QDA had a briefing on the agenda. The meeting was briefed on financial affairs of QDA development projects and proposed schemes. The QDA was directed to improve its performance as per its mandate of urban development.
” The project for the preparation of the master plan for the development of Quetta, which is at a standstill, should be completed soon”, said the CM Balochistan.

The meeting proposed that the old and new housing schemes in the private sector should be strictly regulated. ” QDA is the main organization responsible for the development of Quetta and QDA should be a financially independent and self-reliant organization”, said chief Minister.
The CM ordered to take action against those who are responsible for mismanagement in the Quetta Master Plan and other matters of the institution. ” the performance of the institution was badly affected due to political and other reasons”, Mr. Bizenjo said.
