Balochistan Govt releases Rs.92.2 million for floods victims

A heroic young man saved the lives of five people stranded in floods in Balochistan’s Loralai district on Sunday. A brave coal contractor AttaUllah Luni rescued five people from flash floods unleashed by torrential rains.

Mr. Luni put his life in danger and entered his vehicle in flood water and saved five human lives. The video of Atta Ullah Luni rescuing the stranded people went viral on social media and people appreciated his bravery.

“What I did was all for humanity and saving human lives”, Attaullah Luni told Quetta Voice. He said five stranded people were helpless when rushed to his vehicle and entered floods on the outskirts of Loralai. “They heaved a sigh of relief when I ran my luxury vehicle in floods of water”, he recalled the movement.

All five people were reduced one by one and Mr. Luni brought them out of the flood water.

People belonging to various walks of life demanded of the Balochistan government to announce a special award for Mr. Luni in recognition of his brave step when the stranded people were in desperate need of support.
