Gold rates Lower in Pakistan as Rupee on way to stabilise

The Gold rates per tola has decreased by Rupees 400 in Pakistan today, August 10. Rates of Gold and other jewellery has recorded a decline from the day Rupee has started to strengthen against US Dollar both in Open Market and Interbank.

Earlier the price of Gold per tola was 1 lakh and 44 thousand Rupees. Today with a decrease of 400 per tola the gold rates were recorded around 1 lakh 43 thousand.

The Gold, Silver and other jewellery rates also depends upon Dollar rate compared to a country’s currency. As Pakistani Rupee started to emerge against US Dollar not only the multiple points were added to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) but also the Gold Rates per tola decreased.

“Pakistani Rupee would strengthen more making a notable decrease in Gold Rate Per Tola in Pakistan”, Economists commented on the current rise in points in PSE.

The price of Gold per ounce in International Market is 1,791 Dollars after an increase of 14 dollars.
