Relief activities of the Pakistan Army are ongoing for the flood-affected people in the flood-affected areas of Balochistan. During the last 24 hours, Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan have shifted 179 people trapped in their houses in the flood-affected areas to safe places through helicopters and boats during the rescue and relief operation.
Relief camps have been set up in 23 flood-affected areas. A total of 6258 flood-affected people received cooked meals, 735 ration packets containing pulses, rice, sugar, cooking oil, etc. and 230 tents have been distributed among the deserving people.
4,445 flood-affected people were provided treatment
Free medical camps have been established in different areas for the flood victims where 4645 patients have been provided free medical aid and medicines. 9 teams have been formed by Pakistan Army to estimate the damage due to the flood in Lasbela.
A total of 6 Traffic Management Teams consisting of FC, Pakistan Coast Guards, and Police ensure traffic flow in the affected areas with tireless efforts. The restoration work of other affected highways and roads in the area is ongoing on an emergency basis by the administration and related departments.
