KALAT: At least two security personnel were martyred in a blast in Balochistan’s Kalat district on Friday. Levies sources said the incident happened in the Johan area of district Kalat. Security personnel was on a routine patrol when targeted by a bomb explosion.
Three security personnel were also injured in the blast that rocked the entire area. The injured security personnel were rushed to Quetta for medical treatment. Frontier Corps (FC) and levies personnel reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
Security was tightened in and outside the Johan area in the aftermath of the blast.
