QUETTA: The spokesperson government of Balochistan, Farah Azeem Shah on Friday announced that 200 employees would be recruited for the Balochistan Assembly and MPAs hostel. “All out efforts would be made to ensure merit in recruitment”, the spokesperson told a news conference at Quetta Press Club.
She thoroughly briefed the newsmen about the decisions made by the provincial cabinet. Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo chaired the provincial cabinet meeting, which made a number of decisions.
She informed action would be taken against the elements involved in the construction of substandard dams and roads across Balochistan. The Chief Minister’s Inspection Team (CMIT) has submitted its report to the government.
CM directed action against the elements involved in encroachments
CM Mir Quddus Bizenjo has directed the concerned authorities to take an action against the elements involved in corruption and encroachments across Balochistan. Flash floods unleashed by heavy rainfall washed away dams, roads and bridges throughout the province.
In response to a question, she said the government has provided seeds worth Rs.2.2 billion to flood-affected farmers in all 26 flood-hit districts of Balochistan. She said the damage assessment process was about to be complete and that the provincial and federal governments were determined to rehabilitate the flood-affected people of Balochistan.
Woman police station being set up in Quetta
The Spokespersons stated that the government has taken a number of initiatives to support the masses despite meager resources. She stated that a woman police station was being established in Quetta to make sure timely justice and remedy for women.
The spokesperson said the present government has ensured transparency in terms of the allocation of funds for all constituencies. Besides government, substantial amounts are also allocated for constituencies of opposition.
Farah Azeem Shah said thousands of jobs were created in various government departments to provide jobs to the jobless youth of Balochistan. She said the government has already given approval for the appointments of 800 vacancies in the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD).
