ISLAMABAD: Saindak Metal Limited (SML) decided to release Rs.2.597bs for the Balochistan government from its profit share. This decision was made at the finance board meeting of the SML on Sunday. The meeting endorsed the stance of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo about the profit share of the province.

The meeting decided to ensure the immediate transfer of Balochistan’s profit share. This decision on behalf of the SML has come after reports of the financial crisis of the provincial government. Bashir Khan Bazai, the secretary of energy Balochistan who is also a member of the board pleaded the province’s case in this regard.

The amount would be released to the Balochistan government next week, an official handout issued confirmed.
