CHAMAN: The death toll in the Afghan forces firing rose to 7 as another injured person succumbed to injuries on Monday evening. Dr. Abdul Malik Achakzai, the Superintendent of Chaman civil hospital confirmed the death of the injured. Over two dozen civilians were injured when the Afghan forces fired rockets on the civilian population at Killi Sheikh Alam and other villages located at the Afghan border.
The Pakistani forces gave a befitting albeit measured response to avoid civilian casualties on the Afghan side, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
The condition of the three injured is serious to be serious in the trauma center of civil hospital Quetta. The martyred civilians were laid to rest in the presence of thousands of people at the border villages.
