QUETTA: Balochistan High Court (BHC) disposed of 6624 cases during the year 2022. A total of 6988 cases were registered in the BHC during 2022, sources in the court said. At the beginning of 2022, 4,108 were pending. However, all efforts were made to timely dispose of cases lying pending.

Currently, 4472 cases are pending in the BHC. In the subordinate judiciary, there were 15,675 cases at the beginning of 2022. A total of 56047 cases were registered at the lower courts and judgments of over 55,000 were announced during the year.

The number of cases pending in the subordinate judiciary is currently 16,020 currently, sources in the Balochistan High Court (BHC) confirmed.
