A landmine explosion targeted the convoy of Sardar Khan Rind, the son of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) leader Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind on Saturday evening.

Initial information confirms the death of two security guards of Sardar Khan Rind. Sardar is unhurt in the attack, levies sources said.

“Two guards of Sardar Rind were killed in the attack”, Fahad Shah Rashdi, the assistant commissioner Dhadar said. He said the convoy of Sardar Rind was targeted in the Noshman area of Dhadar. The dead bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital and the injured were provided medical treatment.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo strongly condemned the blast and directed the administration to submit a report and arrest the culprits involved in the incident. The CM asked the administration to tighten security and arrest the culprits behind the attack, an official handout issued here on Saturday evening said.

Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove strongly condemned the incident and asked deputy commissioner Kachhi to apprehend the culprits behind the attack.
