At least four policemen were injured when an unknown accused hurled a hand grenade at a police mobile van in the Sariab Road area of Quetta. Police sources said SHO Sariab was inside the vehicle. However, the SHO was unhurt in the attack.
The injured policemen were shifted to the Trauma Center Civil Hospital Quetta for medical treatment. Waseem Baig, the Spokesman of the Civil Hospital described the condition of the injured as out of danger.
This attack has come almost three hours after a blast killed four people including two policemen in the Kandahari Bazar area of Quetta. Panic prevailed in the city in the aftermath of repeated attacks on police.
