QUETTA: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Thursday evening launched its first digital media platform in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan. Sindh Information Minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon, the head of the party’s digital media wing was the chief guest in Quetta.
“Today Quetta seems to be Larkana”, Sharjeel Inam Memon told the flags-waving party supporters. A large number of PPP workers carrying party flags were present on the occasion. PPP Balochistan President, Mir Changaiz Jamali, Haji Ali Madad Jattak, Rozi Khan Kakar, Sardar Sarbuland Jogezai and others were also present on the occasion.
Charged party supporters chanted full-throated slogans in support of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari
Like in other parts of the country, the PPP also launched its first digital media platform in Quetta. The charged party workers also chanted full-throated slogans in support of the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the party’s policies.
“Today is a historic day, the grandson of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto is visiting India”, Sharjeel Inam Memon stated. He said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari represented the case of Pakistan in a political and effective way, unlike previous rulers.
Memon lashes out at PTI
He lashed out at the mainstream opposition party i.e. Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) for what he called inflicting damage to the stability of the motherland. Sharjeel Inam Memon said Pakistan was a strong nation and ready to defend its borders.
He said Quetta sounds like Larkana today because of the party’s flags everywhere. “You turned Quetta into Larkana”, the Sindh Information Minister remarked. He appreciated the efforts of the PPP Balochistan and urged all workers to effectively use social media platforms.
Changaiz Jamali also stressed the need for using social media in an effective way to shape public opinion. Today, social media shapes public opinion across the globe, Changaiz Jamali said.
