Protesters demand stern action against drug peddlers
The protesters blocked the main road outside the Balochistan Assembly and demanded of the police to take stern action against the drug peddlers operating in the area. “Government should translate words into action”, Malik Naseer Shahwani said.
The protesters also lamented that the residents of Sariab were deprived of basic facilities and that the provincial government was least bothered about the miseries of the masses. The protesters said police and the administration were complicit in the spread of the narcotics in the area.
