From Our Correspondent:

NOSHKI: The residents of Galangur District Nushki have said in their statement that on July 9, 2023, early in the morning a father and son were killed by robbers in the Qambrani Road area of Quetta.

In their statement, the residents said that the bandits killed the father and the son and left their house in ruins, while the rest of the government, especially the police department, has completed the task only to suspend an officer.

Abdul Kareem Sarparah, an elder of the family demanded of the police chief of Balochistan to bring the killers to book.

No progress in the case since the removal of Khalil Bugti

What has happened since the officer was removed from his position? He said that we consider the removal of Circle Shalkot DSP Khalil Bugti as putting our case in cold storage. There is only one officer, are the other officers acquitted, you people think that suspending an officer will give false comfort to the victim’s family to cover up their incompetence, but you people do nothing less than rub salt in our wounds, he lamented.

We, the victims’ families, demand from the Balochistan government and the top officers of the police that no specific officer should be targeted on our victims and the killers should be arrested as soon as possible, otherwise, we, the people of Gulingur Nushki, will be forced to protest strongly. Quetta, Taftan will block the highway, the heirs of the victims warned.
