At least seven minor girls died while swimming in Balochistan’s Kech district on Sunday. Police sources said two minor girls were seriously injured and shifted to the district headquarters hospital in Turbat.
The incident happened in the Turbat nullah area, police said. The ages of the girls were from seven to 15 years.
Senior administration officials and rescue workers reached the spot of the incident and shifted the dead bodies to the hospital. A large number of people also reached the nullah to witness the heartbreaking scenes after the recovery of innocent girls dead bodies.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo expressed grief and sorrows over the sad incident and directed the administration to submit a report in this regard.
