KHUZDAR: Participants of long march reached Mangochar on Tuesday evening and were warmly received by local people. Political leaders, tribal elites and members of civil society warmly welcomed Sajjad Baloch and his colleagues at Sorab. “Now we are on our way to Quetta from Mangochar”, Sajjad Baloch told Quetta Voice via telephone.

Youngsters from Balochistan’s Khuzdar city had launched a long march to Quetta, the provincial capital against increasing drug addiction in the society. Sajjad Ahmed Baloch, Muhammad Hayat, Samiullah and Basit Baloch started walk from Khuzdar on February 6 against the menace of drugs in  society.

“Our main objective is to create awareness among the people”, Sajjad Baloch told Quettav Voice via telephone.

The youth would reach Quetta and would address a press conference against the menace of drugs. “We want to give a message to the society and government about the menace of drugs”, Sajjad Baloch said.

Levies personnel also accompanied the participants of long march from Khuzdar to Quetta to make sure their security.

Tribal elites were Sorab appreciated the efforts of youngsters from Khuzdar and demanded of the government to appreciate their cause and struggle.
