The health department has confirmed 159 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus as the tally reached 4,087 in Balochistan on Friday evening. The virus has caused 46 deaths in the province. Moreover, 1400 patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus.

According to the daily situation report released by the Corona Cell Balochistan, so far over 23,000 tests have been conducted by the health department in the province. The virus has affected 25 out of a total of 33 districts of Balochistan.

Quetta has been hit hard by the deadly virus so far as per the Corona Cell statistics. However, Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Killa Saifullah, Jaffarabad have been also hit hard by the virus. The virus gradually spreads across Balochistan, Waseem Baig, the Spokesman Corona Cell Balochistan told the daily Quetta Voice.
