QUETTA: The provincial reforms committee thoroughly discussed ways and means to improve the performance of education, health and other sectors in Balochistan on Tuesday. Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal chaired the reforms committee meeting. Chief Secretary Balochistan, Captain (R) Fazeel Asghar, senior bureaucrats Ghullam Ali Baloch, Saboor Kakar, Sheharyar Taj, Noor ul Haq Baloch and Aziz Ahmed Jamali attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the recommendations and progress made during last six meetings of the committee. The reforms committee was established on the directives of chief minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan to improve the performance of all government departments and improve governance in the province.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that currently under his political government postings and transfers on political basis were considerably reduced in the province. He said now the officers and departments should perform better and give better results. The Chief Minister stated that other officers would also be included in the reforms committee to improve it better.
