NAB Balochistan Hosts Public Hearing to Address Corruption Concerns

On June 27, 2024, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan organized a pivotal Public Hearing Session at its Complaint Cell, situated within the DC Office on Anscomb Road, Quetta. This initiative underscores NAB’s unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and public engagement. The session, known as Khuli Kachehri, provided a direct platform for citizens to voice concerns related to corruption.

During the event, a significant number of complainants, including victims of housing societies, highlighted issues ranging from misuse of authority by government officials to concerns involving agent mafias. These grievances were collected with the aim of swiftly addressing corruption and ensuring justice for all affected parties.

Director General of NAB (Balochistan), in his address, emphasized the bureau’s relentless efforts to eradicate corruption and safeguard the people of Balochistan from fraud. The Khuli Kachehri, scheduled to occur on the last Thursday of every month, signifies NAB’s proactive approach to promoting a culture of integrity and accountability. By fostering public participation, NAB aims to empower citizens to create a corruption-free society where rights and dignity are upheld.

This initiative not only showcases NAB’s determination to combat corruption comprehensively but also encourages continued public cooperation in reporting corruption cases to the National Accountability Bureau.
