LORALAI, QUETTA: A security guard was killed and another seriously injured in a tragic incident on Tuesday when unknown motorcyclists opened fire outside Meezan Bank in Mekhtar, Loralai district. According to sources, the attackers swiftly fled the scene, leaving the injured guard in critical condition. Authorities are investigating the incident to identify the assailants and their motives.

Eagle Squad Targeted in Quetta

In a separate incident in Quetta, unknown assailants opened fire on soldiers of the Saryab Road Eagle Squad during a routine patrol. Fortunately, the youths and civilians in the Eagle Squad were unharmed, and no casualties were reported. The attackers managed to escape, and security forces have launched a search operation in the area.

Increased Security Measures

These incidents have raised concerns over the security situation in Balochistan, prompting law enforcement agencies to increase vigilance and enhance security measures across the province. The authorities have vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety of citizens.
