KHARAN: At least one person was injured in a blast in the red zone area of Kharan bazar on Monday evening. Police sources said one person identified as Abdul Majeed was injured in the blast. The injured was rushed to the district headquarters hospital Kharan for medical treatment.
Police and personnel of other law enforcement agencies reached the spot of the blast and started an investigation into the attack. Security was tightned in and around Kharan in the aftermath of the blast that rocked the city.
