Khuzdar:
A progress review meeting for the Balochistan Socio-Economic Development Project (Kalat Zone) was held in Khuzdar, chaired by Secretary Public Health Engineering Department, Mr. Imran Gichki. Key officials, including Chief Engineer PHED South Zone, Mr. Mutlib, and Superintending Engineer Kalat Circle, Mr. Arif Shah, attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the physical and financial progress of projects under the Balochistan Socio-Economic Development Project (Kalat Zone) and ongoing schemes under PSDP 2024-25. Highlights included the completion of three PSDP projects in Khuzdar by December 15th, 2024, one project in Lasbela by November 15th, 2024, and the drilling of 54 tube wells in Awaran by December 15th, 2024.

Challenges such as limited financial authorizations were discussed, with an action plan to request remaining funds from the Planning and Development Department. Secretary Gichki emphasized the importance of adhering to project timelines for successful implementation.

This meeting underscores the commitment to advancing socio-economic development in Balochistan.
