The Balochistan government on Tuesday extended smart lockdown till June 30th in the province to contain the novel coronavirus. Home and Tribal Affairs Department Balochistan issued a notification that extended the lockdown for another 15 days in this regard.

Under the smart lockdown, a ban would remain imposed on all types of political, religious, cultural and social gatherings in the province. However, the educational institutions across the province would remain closed till July 15th to contain the deadly virus.

Ban would remain imposed on all public points, picnic points and other places for another 15 days to tackle the situation, the notification issued by the home department said.

The government has directed the people to wear masks at all offices, public places and other points to contain the virus.
