Following the deadly attack on the Junaid coal mines in Duki, thousands of protestors took to the streets, demanding justice for the 20 coal miners killed in the incident. The protests erupted as grieving families and local residents called for immediate government action to hold the attackers accountable and improve security for workers in the region.

Demonstrators, chanting slogans and holding banners, urged authorities to enhance protection at coal mining sites and ensure that such tragedies are prevented in the future. The protestors also demanded swift legal action against the armed assailants responsible for the brutal attack.

Local leaders joined the protests, expressing solidarity with the victims’ families and pushing for compensation and long-term reforms in Balochistan’s mining sector. As tensions continue to rise, government officials are expected to address the demands and provide assurances of justice.
