QUETTA – Dr. Malik Baloch, a veteran politician and former Chief Minister of Balochistan, has been elected as the President of the National Party (NP). The decision was announced on Monday, marking a return to leadership for Dr. Malik within the party he helped shape.

Dr. Malik brings years of experience to his role as NP President. Known for his dedication to the province and his stance on social and economic issues, he has been an influential figure in Balochistan’s political landscape. His previous tenure as Chief Minister was noted for efforts toward greater provincial autonomy, development, and addressing local grievances.
