QUETTA: Protests resumed on Sunday afternoon as demonstrators blocked the main chowk, demanding the recovery of a 10-year-old boy, Mohammed Musawir, who was kidnapped three days ago.
Chanting slogans against the police and provincial government, protesters accused authorities of failing to ensure the safe return of the minor. Family members of the kidnapped boy expressed their anguish, stating that the administration has not done enough to recover Mohammed.
The parents, overwhelmed with grief, pleaded for swift action. This marks the third consecutive day of protests in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, with demonstrators taking to the streets to press for the recovery of the child.
Authorities have yet to release any updates on the investigation. The ongoing protests have disrupted traffic and heightened public concerns about safety in the city.
