QUETTA: Mir Attaullah Langove has been elected as the president of the Balochistan High Court Bar Association, while Syed Najbuddin Agha secured the position of general secretary in a competitive election.

Langove, representing the Independent Lawyers Panel, and Agha, from the Professional Panel, led vigorous campaigns to secure the support of the legal community. Both panels emphasized their commitment to the supremacy of the constitution and the rule of law.

Following the announcement of results, celebrations erupted as lawyers from both panels marked their victory. The newly elected leaders pledged to strengthen the bar association’s role in promoting justice and constitutional supremacy.

The election saw a robust turnout, reflecting the legal community’s dedication to selecting strong leadership.
