QUETTA: Provincial Irrigation Minister and Pakistan People’s Party Central Committee member Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani has strongly condemned the suicide attack on a security forces check post in Bannu, which left several personnel martyred and injured.
In a statement, Umrani denounced the attack as a conspiracy by non-state actors working on the agenda of enemy forces to destabilize Pakistan. He emphasized that such acts of terror will never succeed in disrupting the country’s law and order.
“The country is progressing due to the effective strategies of the current government,” he said. “To eliminate the scourge of terrorism, we must overcome political differences and take serious steps to ensure national security and prosperity.” He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the blast.
