Quetta: The Balochistan High Court has announced the date for the next hearing in the highly anticipated case regarding the alleged irregularities in the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) conducted by the Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMHS). The fourth hearing is scheduled for December 23rd, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
This case has drawn significant public attention and scrutiny after numerous allegations of irregularities in the MDCAT examination were raised by students and concerned parties. The court is expected to hear arguments from both sides and consider evidence presented regarding the alleged malpractice.
As cases have been filed against BUMHS against the alleged irregularities in conduct of MDCAT some students oppose these steps and claim that the mdcat conducted was fair and on merit.
However, scores of MDCAT aspirants from quetta believe that the test conducted was composed of a few irregularities in the form of out of syllabus mcqs and wrong questions.
All parties involved in the case are advised to bring their original CNICs for verification purposes. The outcome of this hearing will have a significant impact on the future of medical education in Balochistan and the aspirations of aspiring medical students.
