ISLAMABAD: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kacchi District of Balochistan, following reports of terrorist presence in the area, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
During the operation, troops stealthily surrounded and effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. After an intense exchange of fire, 27 terrorists were eliminated.
Multiple hideouts, along with caches of arms, ammunition, and explosives, were also destroyed during the operation.
The neutralized terrorists were involved in numerous attacks against security forces and innocent civilians. They were highly wanted by law enforcement agencies.
The security forces of Pakistan, aligned with the nation, remain committed to thwarting any attempts to sabotage the peace, stability, and progress of Balochistan.
