The Corona Cell on Thursday confirmed 129 new cases of the novel coronavirus as the tally reached 9,946 across the province. The virus has caused 109 deaths so far in Balochistan.
The Corona Cell in its daily situation report informed that 601 tests were conducted on Thursday and 129 were declared positive by the laboratory. The Balochistan health department has conducted over 46,000 tests of the coronavirus in the province.
Most of the tests have been conducted in Quetta, the provincial capital.
In Balochistan, 3,737 patients have recovered from the deadly virus since its outbreak earlier this year. Most of the patients with mild symptoms battled the deadly virus at their homes in isolation and recovered.
