PISHIN: The joint funeral prayer for the four martyred Levies personnel from Khanozai was offered at the Khanozai Football Stadium before their bodies were sent to their respective native villages for burial.
Heart-wrenching scenes were witnessed during the funeral, as thousands of people turned out to pay their respects to the martyrs of the blast. The atmosphere was filled with grief and sorrow, with families and attendees mourning the tragic loss.
The attack occurred when the vehicle carrying Levies personnel was targeted using an improvised explosive device (IED) in the Drabin area.
The blast resulted in the martyrdom of four personnel, while others sustained injuries. Officials have condemned the act and vowed strict action against those responsible.
Meanwhile, the government has formed an inquiry committee to investigate the incident. The Commissioner’s office will lead the probe to determine the circumstances behind the deadly attack and ensure that those involved are brought to justice.
