Quetta: A gas cylinder explosion rocked the DHA Quetta Eat Festival at approximately 8:15 PM, injuring multiple attendees. The blast, triggered by a gas leak, caused panic among festivalgoers as a fire erupted at the popular event.

The Provincial Emergency Operation Center of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) responded promptly, dispatching two ambulances and a rescue team from PDMA headquarters. Emergency responders provided immediate medical assistance while authorities launched an investigation into the cause of the leak.

Officials are now reviewing safety protocols for public events to prevent future incidents. Festival organizers and local authorities have vowed to implement stricter safety measures to ensure visitor security at upcoming gatherings.
