Dawood Ahmed: 

ISLAMABAD: Senior Supreme Court lawyer Munir Ahmed Khan Kakar, who previously contested the election for the president of the Supreme Court Bar Association, has joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). Following his decision, he met with PPP President Asif Ali Zardari to discuss key legal and security issues in Balochistan and across Pakistan.

A meeting was also held on this occasion, attended by former Attorney General Farooq H. Naek and Balochistan Minister for Agriculture Ali Hassan Zehri.

During the discussion, Kakar highlighted the deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan and the pressing legal challenges faced by the legal fraternity.

Advocate Faheem Khan Kakar, President of the People’s Lawyers Forum (PLF) Loralai Division, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Munir Ahmed Khan Kakar, calling him the “Pride of Balochistan” for his contributions to the legal profession. Party leaders praised his decision, expressing confidence that his inclusion would strengthen the PPP’s engagement with the legal community and Balochistan’s political landscape.
