Khuzdar: A grenade attack on the residence of Hub City Station House Officer (SHO) Qadir Sheikh in Khuzdar injured five people, including four children, on Monday, according to police sources.
Khuzdar Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Javed Zehri confirmed that unidentified attackers hurled a hand grenade at a house in the Kaushik area of Khuzdar City. Among the injured were the SHO’s father and his brother’s four children. The father was shifted to Karachi for further treatment, while the children were discharged after receiving medical aid.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the attack.
This incident follows a suicide bombing targeting a security forces convoy in Balochistan’s Noskhi district a day earlier, which resulted in the deaths of three security personnel and two civilians.
