Dera Murad Jamali— At least three personnel of the highway police were injured in an explosion targeting their vehicle in the Naseerabad district on Sunday.
According to police officials, the vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by unknown miscreants. The blast left three officers injured, and their patrol vehicle was partially damaged.
The injured personnel were immediately shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Naseerabad, where an emergency was declared to ensure swift medical treatment.
Law enforcement officials reached the scene soon after the incident and initiated a thorough investigation. Security in the area was tightened, and a search operation was launched to trace those involved.
