Qaseem Shah:

In a significant development within the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Sardar Omar Gorgej has been appointed as the new President of PPP Balochistan, marking a strategic reshuffle in the party’s provincial leadership, party insiders confirmed on Sunday.

According to well-placed sources within the party, Rahbani Kakar has been named the General Secretary of the provincial chapter, while Mir Zahoor Buledi, who currently serves as Balochistan’s Minister for Planning and Development, has been appointed as the Information Secretary of PPP Balochistan.

The leadership changes come at a time when the PPP is looking to reorganize and strengthen its presence in the province ahead of upcoming local and national political engagements. Party officials view these appointments as part of a broader effort to inject new energy and coordination into PPP’s provincial setup.

Sources also indicated that further structural adjustments may follow in the coming days as the party leadership eyes stronger electoral performance and deeper grassroots outreach across Balochistan.
