QUETTA: At least four people were killed and 17 others sustained injuries in an explosion at Shahwani Stadium on Tuesday night, officials confirmed.
According to Quetta Civil Hospital spokesperson Dr. Waseem Baig, the deceased and injured were brought to the hospital for treatment.
In a statement, the Balochistan Home Department said rescue teams promptly reached the site, while security forces cordoned off the area and began collecting evidence. The provincial government has ordered a high-level investigation into the incident and urged citizens to avoid spreading rumours and cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
