Pakistan Temporarily Reopens Chaman Border to Facilitate Afghan Refugee Repatriation: photo Daily Quetta Voice.

Chaman – A bomb blast near a taxi stand close to the Pak-Afghan border in Chaman has left four people dead and three others wounded, officials confirmed. While the Police sources say that the blast seems to be a suicide blast. Furthermore, the powerful explosion occurred within the premises of a refugee camp and was heard across Chaman city and surrounding areas.

Soon after the incident, the Levies, Frontier Corps (FC), and other law enforcement agencies reached the scene and cordoned off the entire area. Ambulances from local hospitals shifted the dead and injured to medical facilities.

The Balochistan government strongly condemned the attack, while the Home Department of Balochistan announced that evidence collection and investigations were underway to determine the nature and motive of the blast.

“The area has been sealed, security forces are present at the site, and the investigation process is ongoing,” a Home Department spokesperson said. “The public is urged to avoid spreading rumors and to fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies.”

The Chief Minister of Balochistan has also directed authorities to conduct a thorough probe into the attack.
